I am working with Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND and they are looking for some temporary Hematology/Oncology coverage over the next several months. I wanted to touch base with you to see if you might have any availability to help out. This facility is willing to look at unlicensed candidates to fill this need. A North Dakota license takes about four to six weeks to obtain. We are willing to facilitate and pay for this licensure with a 1-2 week commitment for at least three months. I have personally have had over twenty physicians work for me at this facility over the last fifteen years. These physicians have been in all different specialties. They all have enjoyed working at this facility because the facility is state of the art with its equipment and facility resources, the sub specialist staff are very good, the people and the staff appreciate locum tenens physicians, and the pay is always good. Schedule: M-F 8A-5P with night call each night
24 hour call on Saturday/Sunday
Minimum length of assignment accepted is 1-2 weeks per month
Skills required: chemotherapy, biologic therapy, hormone therapy. They do have a diverse population of cancers in their community so someone who has experience with many types would be highly preferred.
Average of 10-15 new consults per week
Average of 30-35 patients in the infusion center per day ; half of them are in chem
18 bay infusion center
10 Exam Rooms
Support staff: nurses, NP, therapists, support groups, developing triage nurse center, robust hospitalist program, imaging center is adjacent to the cancer center
EMR: Cerner - use Aria platform (Aria - combine radiation, medical and surgical oncology information into a complete EMR that helps manage the patients entire journey)
30-45 days to privilege
$625 per hour with an 8 hour guarantee M-F
$750 per hour for any hour worked in the facility after the 8 hour guarantee M-F, any hour worked in the facility while on call M-F, or any hour after four hours worked in the facility on Sat/Sun
$600 per night for call M-F
$5000 per 24 hour call on Sat/Sun including four hours of gratis
