Facility: A hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and more. It provides both inpatient and outpatient care to patients of all ages.

Opportunity:
  • Day Shift: 8:00 am-4:30 pm; Call Schedule: Weekdays 5:00 pm-7:00 am
  • No weekends!
  • Reason for Opening: Resignation of Hematology Oncologist at Practice
  • 50% Hematology
  • 50% Oncology
  • Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 remaining physician
  • Hem/Onc only practice
  • Adults only
  • No Radiation Oncology on-site, but connection to Radiology Oncology team at Loyola University Medical Campus, which is 5 miles from practice.
  • No APP's in practice
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months
  • Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program
  • Practice Setting:
    • Outpatient Free-Standing Community Cancer Center
    • Average Number of Patients Per Day (Outpatient Clinic): 75
    • Average Number of Patients Per Day (Hospital Call/Rounding): 2
    • Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level 2
