Hem-Oncologist Needed for New Mexico / Flexible work schedule!

Join an expanding independent multi-specialty group with 3 cancer treatment centers in SE NM (3 hours to Albuquerque). Flexible work schedule; open to a 4-day work week! Robust support staff assigned for each provider, including 2 assigned medical assistants, and 6-8 certified chemo infusion nurses.

Diagnose and provide medical treatment for cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders. Outpatient: Write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed.
In-patient: Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications, deliver chemo-infusion.

Practice offers high complexity lab services and a full radiology department consisting of Digital X-ray, Pet/CT, Nuclear Camera, Ultrasound, Dexa Scan, Echo-cardiogram, MRI.

Requirements:

  • BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
  • New Mexico license, or eligible to obtain one
