Hematologist Oncologist - BMT & CAR T Cell Therapy

The University of Missouri's Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology and MU Health Care are seeking hematology-oncology candidates at the Assistant Professor level or higher, and we welcome your application. With a goal to bring the most novel treatments and high-quality care to Central Missouri and beyond, we are currently undergoing strong expansion in Hematology, starting a bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy program, launching in spring 2024

About Us:
As part of the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and the NextGen Precision Medicine Initiative, candidates with interest in clinical and translational research will find an integrative network of clinicians and researchers to provide high-quality patient care and state-of-the-art therapies to Missouri. The clinical faculty is supported by a team of strong advanced practitioners and pharmacists. As Clinician Scientists, faculty works closely with our integrated clinical trials office. The Hematology / Oncology fellowship program consists of 3 fellows per year and provides an opportunity for applicants to engage as clinician educators. Our faculty is part of cutting-edge world-class research and have access to the most novel biomedical technologies.


Qualifications:
  • MD/DO
  • ABIM BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Hematology Oncology
  • Completion of a BMT fellowship is preferred
  • Commitment to continuous development and growth of clinical services, clinical teaching activities, and research.
  • Rank commensurate with experience. All ranks available (assistant, associate, full professor
