Charleston Area Medical Center and the CAMC Institute of Academic Medicine is seeking two exceptional Hematologist Oncologists to join our team at the CAMC Beckley Oncology location. The ideal candidates will be a board-certified/board-eligible physicians with a strong background in hematology and oncology, capable of providing outstanding patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the advancement of our oncology program.

The CAMC Beckley Cancer Center is a beautiful free-standing building, providing comprehensive cancer care including radiation and radiology services. The practice is supported by nine midlevel providers for both outpatient and inpatient services.

CAMC Beckley Oncology Group is a vital part of the renowned CAMC Cancer Center, and Vandalia Health. Our Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program at CAMC Cancer Center, has been approved to start July 1, 2024. The candidates will be a part of the teaching faculty and will participate in the fellow’s education remotely. The candidates will have an academic appointment with the CAMC Institute of Academic Medicine. As a part of the Institute of Academic Medicine the candidates will have access to our robust research department and its infrastructure. The candidates can participate or lead clinical trials and can-do investigator-initiated research using national databases. The candidates will be encouraged to participate in disease specific tumor boards.

As a Hematologist Oncologist at CAMC Beckley Oncology, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to the patients and communities we serve. You will be part of a larger organization, Vandalia Health - a 17 hospital health system, which is the state’s second largest employer and has been recognized through voting as one of the premier workplaces.

Benefits:

  1. Competitive compensation package of $705K guaranteed, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K retirement plan, 30 days of time away from the practice, 10 CME days, $6K CME allowance and $2K dues and subscriptions stipend.

Although it is preferred for the candidates to live in the Beckley area, they will also have the option of residing in Charleston, WV an approximate 45-minute drive. Qualifications
