Hematologist/Oncologist needed in Michigan City, IN_x000D_ 1 hour to Chicago, IL_x000D_ Located on Beautiful Lake Michigan_x000D_ _x000D_ Full time, permanent_x000D_ _x000D_ Physician will have support of an experienced local team of colleagues and will have the opportunity to serve as a leader in the ongoing growth and development of the oncology service line in the Michigan City market area. _x000D_ _x000D_ Our full service, comprehensive cancer treatment center includes:_x000D_ Infusion Center_x000D_ Radiation Oncology with Trilogy Linear Accelerator and new TruBeam Linear Accelerator with Hyperarc and Identify_x000D_ Neurosurgery and treatment on site_x000D_ Physicist on site_x000D_ Pharmacy onsite_x000D_ Nurse Navigators_x000D_ Research_x000D_ Palliative Care NPs_x000D_ Social Worker onsite_x000D_ Monthly Tumor Board_x000D_ _x000D_ WHAT WE NEED:_x000D_ Ideal candidate will have experience in Hematology Oncology, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidates will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physicians will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of care, displaying passion and energy for fostering an environment of clinical and service excellence._x000D_ _x000D_ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:_x000D_ Hematology Oncology Board Certified_x000D_ Clinic schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m._x000D_ Physician will have 36 hours of patient contact weekly with possibility of 4 ½ day work week_x000D_ Weekday, Weekend and Holiday Call: 1:3_x000D_ Additional time off through the week when you have weekend call_x000D_ Anticipated outpatient volume: 12 15 patients per day_x000D_ Common Cancer Diagnoses:_x000D_ Breast_x000D_ Colon_x000D_ Lung_x000D_ Rectal_x000D_ Prostate_x000D_ Benign Hematology conditions_x000D_
