Location: Located 1.5 hours northeast of NYC, 2 hours southwest of Boston and 30 min to Hartford, this Connecticut city is the fifth largest city in Connecticut, is the home of 107,271 citizens of diverse ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. Conveniently located at the junction of Routes 8 and 84, the city was once known as the "Brass City" because of its long history as the center of the nation's brass industry. Today, Waterbury is known for its advanced technology capabilities, historic architecture and facades, and most importantly, its strong communities and neighborhoods!

Facility: Hospital is 220 beds level 2 trauma center. They see 75,000 patients in ER annually and see everything except burns and transplants. Hospital is licensed for 340 beds and is growing. Modern facilities and up-to-date equipment that constantly being updated. Clinic is close to the Hospital campus.

Opportunity: Hematologist/Oncologist
*January 1, 2024 for 6-12 months

M-F full-time day shift, coverage on weekends. Day shift during the week, on-call weekends with flexibility
*Call schedule: 1:3 during the week, 1:5 on weekends
*Open to full travel candidates
*Participation in tumor boards is required
*Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - Required
*Active CT license or IMLC
*BLS Certification - Required
*Comfortable with Bone Marrow Biopsy - Required
*Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccine - Required

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay plus malpractice.
