HIGHLIGHTS

FCS is currently expanding our team of hematologists/oncologists in our hospital settings throughout Florida. We’re currently hiring a Board certified/eligible Hospitalist. This is an excellent weekend opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community centered care. The ideal candidate will be available for one or two weekends per month. Gainesville typically finds itself rated among the best places to live in the country due to its low cost of living, good public school system, low crime rate, opportunities for small businesses, recreational opportunities, and excellent local culture. Gainesville is the largest city in the region of North Central Florida. Gainesville is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. Gainesville’s mild winters and warm summers are perfect for outdoor activities throughout the year. It is conveniently located near major cities such as Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Daytona Beach, as well as the Gulf Coast & Atlantic Coast lines. All are within an easy 1.5 to 2 hour drive.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Team based setting with multidisciplinary approach

  • Responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of one year of inpatient clinical experience

  • Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License

  • BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology

  • Rotating call may be required
