Seeking a BC/BE Fellowship trained Hematology Oncologist to join an established practice.

New graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Hospital privileges at the Medical Center and Hospital
  • Hybrid position covering in Washington, NC and in nearby Greenville, NC
  • Monday-Friday 8-5 schedule
  • Shared Call model
  • Clinical responsibilities will include: developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients, chemotherapy oversight, supervising advance practice provider on follow up patients and participating in tumor board
  • Participation in a 9 -hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network status in 2020
  • Close collaboration with the Cancer Care team which includes a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, neurological oncologist, hematology oncology fellows, and patient navigators
  • State-of-the-art equipment including a Gamma Knife, a Cyber Knife, Trubeam Linear Accelerators, 3D Mammography, 3 MT MRI, Ultrasound and a full spectrum of radiology services
  • Established clinical trials program; Members Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology
  • Referral network includes 29 county area with a population of 1.4 million people

The 418,000-square-foot facility features 96 inpatient rooms, 60 infusion areas with a view of outdoor healing gardens and 58 different clinics centered on patient care. An image renewal center provides access to wigs, prosthetics, compression sleeves and garments. A resource center offers additional services to patients and families, including psychotherapy, support groups and complementary therapies.
