Located in Martinsville, VA - Greensboro, NC 50m
Seeking hematologist/oncologist to strengthen our established team.
* Full-time
* Hospital Employed
* Join employed Hem/Oncs and an NP, with Radiation/Oncology on-site
* Bi-weekly tumor board and clinical trial programs. Aria Oncology information system
* Averaging 25-30 per day, 100% remote telephone shared call coverage (low call volume), 95% outpatient clinic
* 10 infusion chairs, 2 quick chairs
* Inpatient treatment referred to large academic centers in the area
* Common Oncology scope breast, prostate, lung, colon, head/neck, with a large Hematology panel
* Staffed with navigators, pharmacist, pharm tech, lab tech with lab draws in office, phlebotomist, office manager, clinical director (shared with radiation oncology)
* Hospitalist group admits
* Most local cancer referrals come from GS, GI, Uro, Pulm, ENT and Neph. Good working relationship with tertiary centers in region
* ACOS-CoC accredited
* Low turnover in the clinic with a true family atmosphere
