This need is for a BC Hematologist/Oncologist. Position will include seeing patients in clinic, in hospital, and participating in 1:4 shared call rotation. Preference is for full time physician who can start ASAP until July when new physicians start. But we will consider physicians interested in part-time or on-call also, as this will relieve some burden.
See options below:
1. Full time:
a. 4 days a week seeing patients with 1 administrative day to complete documentation
b. Participate in rotating hospital call during the week (once a week) and q4 weekend call
c. See new and established/follow-up patients
d. Participate in tumor boards (Tues/Wed/Thurs)
2. Part-time:
a. 3 days per week in clinic, seeing new hematology consults, long term follow-up patients, and alternating on-treatment visits with primary doc
b. Hospital support (consults, weekend) would be very helpful but most docs looking for part-time will probably decline this
3. Weekend call:
a. roll into q4 weekend rotation
b. Friday 5pm through Monday 8am – receiving sign out from all docs Friday evening and providing sign out to the docs either Sunday night or early Monday morning regarding hospital patients
c. Receive patient calls through answering service, documenting conversation in Epic
d. Receive and see hospital consults
