- Seeking to add 2 physicians to its group. The growing community dictates the need for additional Hematology-Oncology services in the immediate and surrounding area.
- Ideal candidate will be a BC/BE, highly motivated hematologist/oncologist interested in joining a predominantly outpatient, hospital-based practice.
- The group is based at a state-of-the-art regional cancer center that was recently renovated in 2017 to include 48 infusion bays, multidisciplinary clinic space, and support services. The group also have a community-based office in neighboring Brunswick County and will be expanding to a third location nearby.
- The cancer institute provides multidisciplinary cancer care in collaboration with radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, advanced radiology, and pathology. This collaboration allows the medical hematology and oncology team to provide the highest level of care to all patients. Tumor board collaboration, multidisciplinary clinics, access to clinical trials, advanced hospice and palliative care and resident teaching opportunities allow many opportunities for clinicians to function at a high level of involvement and job satisfaction.
- Currently a team of 11 medical oncologists and 8 advanced practice providers with plans to add at least two more physicians within the next 12 to 18 months.
