Job Description
- The work schedule is 4-day work week if not on call(Monday-Friday) and the week of call is a 5 day/week clinic schedule.
- Call is typically 1 in 5-6 weeks with low call volumes. Once a 6th oncologist is added then call will be 1 in 6-7 weeks.
- First appointments are either at 7:30am or 8am and last appointment is typically 4pm or 4:30pm.
- Patient census is average of 14-18 patients/day.
Center provides inpatient and outpatient oncology services, supportive laboratory and imaging services, as well as services for related clinical research trials. The Institute believes in strong communication between cancer specialists, family physicians, referring specialists and supportive service providers to provide optimal cancer care. The Institute continually reviews and updates techniques and technologies to provide the most leading edge cancer therapies. Their long-standing relationship with nationally renowned research groups allows them to offer some of the latest emerging therapies.
This opportunity is predominantly outpatient-based with infrequent rotational inpatient (consultative only) weekday and weekend call.
