COMPENSATION:
- $285,000 to $425,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- Sign-On Bonus

COMPANY PROFILE:
Having opened its first office more than 20 years ago, this organization is now the largest physician-led outpatient medical practice in the greater NYC metro area. In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, and more. Their large staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, utilizing resources such as on-site laboratory services.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is exclusively focused on gynecological surgery utilizing the latest developments and advanced techniques and treatments (there is NO obstetrical work involved).
The surgeon will diagnose and treat a wide variety of gynecologic conditions and improve patient outcomes for conditions such as endometriosis, leiomyomas, and adnexal masses. The surgeon will also prevent, recognize, and manage potential surgical complications derived from gynecologic surgeries.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- review patient histories and perform physical examinations
- provide preventive care
- provide patient-centered care incorporating psychosocial and physical needs
- perform hysterectomies / myomectomies for benign conditions, open and minimally invasive
- diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy
- diagnostic and operative laparoscopy
- diagnostic cystoscopy
- endometrial ablation
- LEEP
- colposcopy
- hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy
- vulvar biopsy
- pessary care
- participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings as needed
A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference and types of appointments scheduled.
All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical and/or surgical assistants.
The practice utilizes the Epic EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, OB/GYN
- 2+ years GYN surgery experience
- clean malpractice history
