Position: GYN Surgeon Location: Albany, NY (Serving Albany, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties) Overview: Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible GYN surgeon to join our dedicated team as the third member of our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) practice. This full-time, hospital-employed role is ideal for a skilled surgeon who values a supportive environment, high-quality patient care, and a flexible schedule. This position has been created due to the founding physicians transition to a Chief Medical Officer role, offering a unique opportunity for professional growth. About Us: Committed to providing specialized, patient-centered gynecologic care to the Albany area. Our comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services ensure personalized treatment for a wide range of health concerns, with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures. With an expanded patient base, we are excited to welcome a new GYN surgeon to help us continue our mission. Position Details: Consultative Focus: Specialize exclusively in surgical consultations without routine annual visits. High Volume: This role addresses a large referral base across the region. Specialized Procedures: Collaborate with local REI specialists on procedures including: - Resection of deeply infiltrating endometriosis - Complex myomectomies - Tubal microsurgery - Metroplasty Flexible Schedule: Options available for both full-time and part-time positions. Office-Based Responsibilities: 1-2 days per week, focused on consultative care. Limited Call Coverage: Restricted to surgical patients. Resources and Support: Work with experienced PAs and support staff in both the office and OR. Ample OR Time: Significant OR access with robotic surgery options 1-2 days per week. Hospital Privileges: Available at four area hospitals, three of which support Da Vinci robotic systems. Educational Opportunities: Optional involvement in resident education and research. Collaborative Environment: Interact with specialists in minimally invasive urology, colorectal, cardiothoracic, and gynecologic oncology. Requirements: Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery preferred Interest in fertility-related surgery Strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Recruitment Package: Competitive salary with initial guarantee and productivity-based compensation Starting salary range: $325k $400k Comprehensive benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance Paid malpractice coverage with post-employment tail coverage CME time and expense allowance Generous paid time off Two-part retirement savings with employer matching Relocation assistance Estimated pay range/amount is $325k – $400k .
