OHC - SPECIALISTS IN CANCER AND BLOOD DISORDERS (Oncology Hematology Care) is seeking a BC/BE Gynecologic Surgeon to join our prominent practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. As the only independent adult cancer program in the region, we offer Medical, Radiation, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Gynecologic, and Breast Surgery services. OHC supports a robust cancer research and clinical trials program, neuro-oncology, cancer genetics specialists and supportive care program. The Gynecologic Surgeon will join our busy multi-specialty practice and surgical program which currently supports two well-established Gynecologic Surgical Oncologists. Currently, our surgery department also includes two Breast Surgeons. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of cancer experts, they are supported by two Physician Assistants, one Nurse Practitioner/Cancer Genetics Specialist, and one nurse navigator along with several medical assistants.
The ideal candidate will manage and excel at minimally invasive surgical procedures, robotic surgery and basic office procedures such as colposcopies and biopsies. The incumbent must be comfortable treating and operating on patients with advanced BMIs, prior surgeries and medical co-morbidities.
OHC’s fundamental mission is to give our patients the highest quality, most cost-effective, and compassionate cancer care close to home. The assigned location hosts medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and mid-levels providing follow-ups and genetic counseling services.
OHC offers a 4.5 day Gynecologic Oncology focused outpatient practice with surgical privileges at multiple hospitals with state of the art equipment and support. This schedule includes a half day dedicated to administration.
