Come work with a reputable community health organization who is expanding their services in AZ! In this role, you will be assisting the community by providing high quality medical care and serving patients with convenient, high-quality, affordable healthcare.
20-22 patients per day; Including High Risk Patients (Diabetes, High Blood Pressure etc.)
Must be comfortable working with and directing WHNPs
• Diagnose and treat all patients presenting in both outpatient and inpatient settings while maintaining expected medical standards.
• Evaluates patients in a timely manner.
• Hospitalizes patients with serious conditions necessitating in-patient care.
• Contributes to the training and proficiencies of clinical personnel, including medical students.
• Participates in quality improvement program that will assure that patients receive quality care in
the office and from other providers of health care service, using peer review, medical records
audits, grievance and other mechanisms as appropriate.
• Attends medical staff meetings and other meetings as advised by VP of Department.
• Participates in development and implementation of annual health plan.
• Participates in extra activities such as health fairs.
• Promotes positive patient/guest relation providing a high level of quality in personal attention and service to patients and visitors.
• Ensures compliance with governmental licensing and regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Conducts annual review of and complete/suggest on-going revisions of the Policies and Procedures specific to his/her department.
• Maintains familiarity with and abide by all established facility and departmental policies and procedures, noting changes when they are published/posted.
• Conducts himself/herself in a manner consistent with the Mission Statement and Values.
• Observes and respects the confidentiality of information in regard to patients, visitors and coworkers, employees including salary information, if exposed to any of the above referenced information in the course of his/her job function.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine

Previous experience in primary care- Preferred
Board Certification/Letter Stating Board Eligible
Current Arizona License
DEA Certificate
