OHC - SPECIALISTS IN CANCER AND BLOOD DISORDERS (Oncology Hematology Care) is seeking a BC/BE Gynecologic Oncologist to join our prominent practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. As the only independent adult cancer program in the region, we offer Medical, Radiation, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Gynecologic, and Breast Surgical Oncology services. OHC supports a robust cancer research and clinical trials program, neuro-oncology, cancer genetics specialists and supportive care program. The Gynecologic Oncologist will join two existing and well-established Gynecologic Oncologists. Currently, our surgery department includes two Breast Surgical Oncologists along with our Gynecologic Oncologists. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of cancer experts, they are supported by Physician Assistants, a Nurse Practitioner/Cancer Genetics Specialist, and a nurse navigator along with several medical assistants.
OHC is home to over 50 physicians and advanced practice providers. The ideal candidate will contribute to a thriving practice in a collegial environment. OHC’s fundamental mission is to give our patients the highest quality, most cost-effective, and compassionate cancer care close to home. The assigned location hosts medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and mid-levels providing follow-ups and genetic counseling services. We also staff a dedicated cancer research team with extensive experience in conducting clinical trials as a partner with Sarah Cannon Research Institute, one of the world’s leading cancer research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials, whose work has led to the majority of new cancer therapies approved by the FDA today. The collaboration includes OHC in a network of globally recognized cancer experts within the US Oncology Network enrolling patients in phase 1-4 clinical trials at more than 250 locations across 26 U.S. states.
