Gynecology Oncology opening - Colorado Springs Position Details
- Full-time, permanent
- Well-established, high-volume practice with a seasoned staff and partner in downtown Colorado Springs
- Enjoy a steady growth of new patients with a large and loyal referral base from our 11 primary care clinics and 4 OB/GYN clinics located throughout Colorado Springs.
- Receive support from a GynOnc dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist, and GYN-specialized Pathologists.
- Practice within the physician-led medical group with over 650 physicians and over 500 APPs.
- This group has 1 APP (NP), nurses, Mas Contract Physician assisting right now.
- Receive midlevel provider support in addition to full-spectrum ancillary support such as pelvic physical therapy, cancer nutrition, and counseling.
- Take part in research trials as well as the opportunity to offer them to patients.
- Practice and operate at a Level I trauma center with access to the da Vinci XI surgical system, clinical trials, and onsite infusion center.
- 368 beds.
- Number of patients seen per day: 15-22, time at the discretion of the provider (new patient vs. follow-up)
- Age groups treated: adult only
- Primarily seeing outpatient
- Call is shared 1:2. Do not get called in often as Hospitalists admit patients (only called for specific consults). Weekends only while on call.
- Access to University of Colorado School of Medicine Tumor Board, clinical trials, research, etc. Teaching medical students is an option, but not required.
- GynOnc and RadOnc both on site
- EMR: EPIC
- With approximately 40 specialties within the Group, youll have access to a wide variety of specialty care when your patients need additional care.
