Clinical and/or Biochemical Geneticist Opportunity in San Antonio Position Summary: Childrens Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical and/or Biochemical Geneticist to join its dedicated genetics team. This position includes an academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will work alongside three clinical geneticists, a biochemical geneticist, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and six genetic counselors. Job Duties:

  • Clinical Responsibilities: Conduct outpatient genetics clinics, participate in specialty clinics, provide inpatient consultations, and handle call coverage.
  • Educational Responsibilities: Contribute to the education of learners, including residents, fellows, and students.
  • Team Support: Work in collaboration with genetics clinic staff, genetic counselors, metabolic dietitians, metabolic nurses, and social workers.
  • Research Support: Access to resources at the Clinical Research Center for those involved in research.
