My name is Brian Davis and I’m a Locum Tenens recruiter with Pacific Companies. We are a full-service Locum Tenens and Permanent physician staffing firm working with clients nationwide. We are looking for a talented GI physician for our latest opportunity in the beautiful Southwest:

The Locum Tenens opportunity, GI in Southern New Mexico

-Location: Southern New Mexico, within 1 hour of the El Paso airport

-Duration: Starting May 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 with the potential to be ongoing

-Schedule: 2 to 5 day blocks; 2-3 times per month based on facility needs

May 1-3

May 18-21

May 25-28

June 1-5

June 15-19

June 29 & 30

July - Dec (ongoing needs)

-Shift hours: 24/ hr call and rounding on inpatients.

-Responsibilities: Phone consults 2-8 phone consults a day - only on call. Will do rounding and floor consults as well, expect a 6-8 hour day

-Call: Call not in-house, 30-minute response time. Average 2-8 phone consult per 24/ hr period

-Patients: Volume is 4 patients seen and 2 admitted every 24 hrs

-Procedures: MUST be able to do ERCP, Upper/Lower, and GI bleeds

-Hospital: 198-bed, acute care facility, using MediTech EMR

-Requirement: Must be Board Certified, have or willing to obtain a NM License, and able to do ERCP
