GI California Locums Details:

Location: Sacramento, California

CALIFORNIA GI Locum Tenens

-1 Weekend Per Month

- Call Coverage in Northern, CA

-From 5p Fri - 8a Mon

-ERCP and Fluoroscope license required

The opportunity is for a GI weekend call cover 1 weekend per month. Weekend coverage is needed from 5pm on Fri through 8am on Monday - Flexible Schedule Ideally looking for physicians which are comfortable with ERCP cases and have active Fluoroscope license

Ongoing coverage is preferred. Clean history & must be boarded. Almost never have to go in after hours. We do not cover trauma. General ER calls, but hospitalists admit

Practice Details:

This is a general GI need for call coverage (ERPC required)

Average number of patients per day: 0-3

Adult patients only

Hospital Details:

Clinic located adjacent to the hospital

Physician will only admit to one hospital -

108 bed acute-care facility

Not a trauma facility

Group has hospitalist support, for additional inpatient follow up

Call

- TBD -essentially shared with three other physicians (to be discussed with the group)

The group has 3 full time GI's. Seeking locums assistance for call coverage relief.

1 weekend per month of call coverage is required

Ideal candidate

BC

CA licensed

Excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate with patients and their families, physicians, administration, and support staff

EMR skills a must!

The group is using TouchWorks (form of

Allscripts) in the office and the hospital uses Cerner

Spanish language and Russian language skills are a plus - Not Required ERCP skills - Required

Advanced endoscopy techniques a plus -Required

Fluoroscope License -Required
