This southwest Georgia medical center, a JCAHO accredited facility, has an immediate need for a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join an established, hospital-employed GI service. The advancing GI department is the home to the only Advanced Gastrointestinal (G.I.) Endoscopic Surgery program in the region. The program is led by a world-renowned Gastroenterologist and pioneer of endoscopic surgery. They offer full spectrum of advanced endoscopy including pancreato-biliary and 3rd space endoscopy. They also offer a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit with anesthesia for all cases. Very light call is divided. They have excellent experienced APP support for both IP and OP.

Academic appointment is available with Florida State University and Archbold also has an Internal Medicine Residency as well as an Advanced Fellowship in Endoscopy.
