This Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN, about 25 miles northeast of Nashville, has an exciting opportunity for a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to take over an established hospital employed practice. The ideal candidate will have experience with general GI cases and ERCP skills.

Established in 1959, the Medical Center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services through its 155-bed acute care facility and physician practices. Since opening, the medical center has grown from a facility with just 50 employees and seven physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. The hospital is also one of the largest non-government employers in Sumner County.
Today, the medical center provides quality care in numerous areas, including cancer treatment, cardiac care, same-day surgery, orthopaedics, diagnostics, women's health and rehabilitation services. In 2019, the medical center received Level III Trauma Center status from the Tennessee Department of Health. As the community grows, SRMC strives to continually improve its services and programs to meet the changing needs of Gallatin, Hendersonville and the surrounding areas.
Gallatin is located in Sumner County, roughly 25 minutes from Nashville. Old Hickory Lake provides opportunities to fish, swim and go boating. Nearby Bledsoe State Park offers more chances to hike, camp and access the lake. The city's town square is a gathering point for the community, with a collection of government offices, churches, The Palace Theatre and unique shops and restaurants. Home to Volunteer State Community College, Gallatin's health care needs are met by the Sumner Regional Health Systems and a collection of local physicians.
