Hi,
ILR Health has an urgent Per Diem need in St. Croix. Escape the cold and enjoy the caribbean on this beautiful island. We need coverage November 24 - December 1 and December 4 - December 15, including travel days. We can also do a straight November 24 - December 15. This is a typical "bread and butter" + call coverage position. ERCP is a plus but not required. Roundtrip airfare, rental car, lodging, malpractice and temporary USVI license is provided. The Gastro schedule is typically lite so you should have time to enjoy yourself outside of the hospital. This position is about helping an underserved population and beating the cold. It is not about trying to make the most money possible. Those positions don't exist in tropical climates where you might have days without any patients to see like this one. You will be compensated $800 per day no matter if you have patients or not.
An active state license from any state in the United States is required for licensing.
You must be clear of malpractice payouts or any other issues that would show up on your NPDB Profile for the past 10 years to qualify for the temporary license.
Sorry, we are not able to accept candidates needing visa sponsorship for this position.
