Job Opportunity: Physician in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Join a premier healthcare facility located in Tyler, Texas, where you will focus on providing high-quality outpatient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position is available for a skilled Physician specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 12 PM. The role emphasizes outpatient screenings in the GI Lab, requiring a commitment of at least two weeks each month for the upcoming six months.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct outpatient screenings in the GI Lab.
• Perform consultations and offer preliminary results to patients.
• Maintain patient records through the Epic EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Provide availability for scheduled clinical hours only, accommodating provider absences.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship training is preferred.
• Experience in outpatient settings is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle 15-17 patient encounters per shift.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
• Board Certification is required.
• Hospital privileges are necessary; temporary privileges may be arranged.
