Locums Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a skilled Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in Carlisle, PA. This position focuses on hospital call coverage only, with no outpatient responsibilities. The provider will be expected to cover a minimum of 7 days per month, with call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

As a Locums Gastroenterology Physician, your responsibilities will include hospital-based consults and procedures as needed. You will be required to round on patients admitted to the floors as well as those seen in the emergency department (ED). Rounding is anticipated to take approximately 1-2 hours per day during your on-call shifts.

The procedures required for this position include colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), with preferred experience in ERCP, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Pennsylvania State License required (IMLC accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ERCP experience preferred
