Position Overview:

• Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician
• Location: Ridgecrest, CA
• Salary: $700,000 – $775,000/year + productivity bonus
• Position Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor
• Work Setting: Hospital Clinic/Private Practice
• Schedule: 40 hours/week
• On-Call: 10 days per month

Job Responsibilities:

✔️ Patient Care & Treatment:

• Diagnose, manage, and treat digestive system disorders
• Perform procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and hemorrhoidal banding
• Maintain a reasonable patient load (16-20 patients per clinic day; 16 cases per procedure day)
• Develop and communicate effective treatment plans

✔️ Collaborative Teamwork:

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team
• Benefit from assistant and scribe services (or AI scribe) for reduced administrative burden
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

✅ M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution
✅ Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
✅ Active CA Medical License (Licensing assistance available)
✅ Residents completing their U.S. residency this year are welcome to apply
