Position Details Specialty: Gastroenterology Provider Type: Physician (MD) Practice Setting: Outpatient Admissions Required: Yes EMR System: GMED Temporary Privileges Available: No Support Staff: 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 2 Office Staff Submissions Requirements Board Certified Active HI License PALS Certification Fellowship Required Must be comfortable supervising Advance Practice Providers Skill Requirements *(Preferred)* Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, varices injection, etc.) ERCP (Diagnostic & Therapeutic) PEG Tube Placement Esophageal Dilation & Manometry Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy (Flexible & Rigid Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy with biopsy & polyp excision) Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Liver Biopsy Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Additional Information List of in-office procedures: - Capsule Endoscopies - Anal Scopes - Sitz Markers (Rare) - GI chronic illness consults/follow-ups (e.g., Hepatitis C, Ulcerative Colitis) - Follow-up labs and infusions Facility is *not* Stroke Certified
