Gastroenterology - Locum Tenens Opportunity in Stevens Point, WI Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rate: Negotiable (tell us your rate) Schedule Negotiable (tell us your preferred schedule) Job Details: Specialty: Gastroenterology Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Practice Setting: Outpatient & Inpatient EMR System: Epic Admissions Required: Yes Privileges Required: Yes (Temporary Privileges Available) Hospital Stroke Certification: Yes Patients Per Shift: 15 Beds in Department: 5 Schedule: Monday - Friday (Clinic and GI procedures) Monday-Tuesday: Clinic and/or procedures Wednesday-Friday: Procedures only (Friday may be a half day) One 24-hour call shift per week (typically Tuesday) No weekends Practice Requirements: Board Certification: Not required (Board Eligible accepted) License Requirement: WI or IMLC Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Nearest Airport: Central Wisconsin Airport Required Certifications: BLS Required Procedures: Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices) Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy (Colonoscopy with biopsy, sigmoidoscopy preferred) Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Response Time Required: 30 minutes Phone Consults: 0-2 Patients Seen: 0-1 Admissions: 0-1 Additional Details: Combination of clinic and GI procedures Specific dates available for coverage (subject to change)
