Looking for long- term Locum with interest in perm placement


GI here is consulting service only - no admissions/discharges.
Average active census of approximately 10-12 inpatients.
Average of 5-7 new consults per day.
Average of 3-5 inpatient procedures per day plus up to 2 potential outpatient procedures per day for patients who have a medical condition that excludes them from being done at our outpatient endoscopy center.
Hospital is ~250 beds
There are 24 ICU beds
There is an APP to help with hospital coverage Monday-Friday from 7:30/8 AM until 3:30/4 PM. There is no APP coverage on weekends/nights/holidays.
Call does include calls regarding/coverage of patients in the Hospital ER.

Anesthesia is available/used for most procedures.

We are looking for 2 weeks of locum coverage, however, one is for 8 days (Friday through Friday), and the second week is for 5 days (Monday through Friday). Please see below with the exact coverage
1st week of coverage: *Primary need*
--September 20-27
--October 11-18
--November 15-22
--December 13-20
--December 23-26 (offering, but negotiable on this need)

For the weeks listed above, candidate would start at noon on Friday and end the following Friday at noon.
They would be paid for 4 hours of work for the first Friday in that rotation (noon-4pm), and 5 hours for the following Friday (7am-noon).
They would be paid for 8 hours of work for Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday through Thursday. (7:30am-3:30pm)
They would be expected to remain available until 5pm on the days they are not on call.
They would be expected to take call Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights, then again on Thursday night. Any overtime or callbacks would be at a negotiated rate.

2nd week of coverage:
The second week of coverage will be one week per month starting in September and lasting through December. It would be Monday through Friday, and the week could be of the candidate's choosing, but we would like to have it coincide with weeks that we have PTO booked for our current physicians. The candidate would be paid for 8 hours per day (7:30am-3:30pm) during this week, except on Friday, which would be 5 hours (7am-noon). Any overtime or callbacks would be at a negotiated rate. They would be expected to take call on Monday and Thursday nights of this week.
