Responsibilities:

• Setting: Inpatient
• Duties: General inpatient gastroenterology coverage, including procedures and ER call coverage.
• Patient Load: Census varies, typically low (max seen: 6 patients).
• Procedures: General GI procedures; ERCP is not required (patients can be transferred if needed).

• EPIC

Support Staff:

• Trained hospital staff in GI.

Travel & Lodging:

• Travel and lodging arrangements per facility guidelines.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
• Iowa State License or IMLC (must be in hand) – Required
• GI Fellowship – Required
• Availability at time of name clear – Required
• Must include a copy of IMLC at time of name clear
