Job Description

Shift Schedule:
  • 7 days on / 7 days off (14 total 24-hour shifts per month)
  • Hospital rounding & GI procedures (no clinic work)
  • 12-hour hospital shifts + 12-hour call coverage
  • Expected 12 routine cases per week (24 per month)
  • Urgent & routine cases – call back required for urgent cases
Description:
  • Setting: Hospital-Based (Trauma Level III)
  • Patient Volume: 0-5 per day (hospital & ICU)
  • Support: Other gastroenterologists will be present
  • Upper GI Endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, varices injection/banding, PEG)
  • Esophageal Dilation & Manometry
  • Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy (Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy – Flexible & Rigid)
  • Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Management
  • Preferred Procedures:
  • ERCP – Diagnostic & Therapeutic
Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active CO License or IMLC Eligibility
  • BLS & ACLS Certification
  • ERCP Experience – Required
