Gastroenterology Locums Job in Texas | 2 Weeks Per Month | ASAP Start | Assignment #107732

Coverage Needs:
-Coverage: Two weeks of coverage per month starting as soon as possible
-Schedule: Inpatient coverage, 7:00am-7:00pm + Night Call, 7:00pm-7:00am; Thursday (7am) – Thursday (7am)

Assignment Details/Requirements:
-Reason for Coverage: Vacancy
-Number of Providers Needed: Multiple
-Privileging Timeline: 30-60 days, Emergency/Temporary Privileges available
-License: Active Texas license required
-Support Staff: 1 NP/PA on during the day, they do not take call; CRNA in all cases to provide anesthesia
-Volume: 20-30 patients per day
-Requirements: BLS, ACLS, BC, Fellowship

Required Procedures:
-Upper GI Endoscopy
-Esophageal Dilation/Manometry
-Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
-Small Bowel Biopsy
-Lower GI Endoscopy
-Sigmoidoscopy
-Liver Biopsy
-Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
-ERCP: REQUIRED

-Trauma Level: Level 1
-Number of Beds: ~385 beds
-ER Visits: ~60,000 per year
-EMR: EPIC
