Gastro
• Coverage Needed: 1 week a month starting in May – Ongoing
• Shift Times:
- 7a-7p
- Plus call
• IR onsite
• Anesthesia available 24/7
• Transfer Center nearby
• No midlevel’s on staff
• EMR: EPIC
• Procedures Required:
- ERCP
- Esophageal or Duodenal or Luminal Stent Placement (20 in the past 2 years)
- Performance of history and physical exam
- Argon plasma coagulation
- Biopsy of the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon
- Colonoscopy with or without polypectomy (must provide documentation of performance of 100 within the past 2 years at initial appointment and 150 at reappointment)
- Diagnostic and therapeutic esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
- Enteral alimentation
- Esophageal dilation with balloon or bougie or Savary with guidewire
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, including foreign body removal or polypectomy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Gastrointestinal motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring
- Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower)
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
