Requirements

• Board Eligible
• Active PA License
• Fellowship
• ACLS, BLS
• Required Skills: Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices), PEG, Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation, Small bowel biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), Colonoscopy (with biopsy, excision of polyp), Liver Biopsy, Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube

Call

• For unassigned patients
• Beeper
• Call response time required: 20 minutes
• Call ratio: 1-5
