Facility in Troy, OH seeking “Bread and Butter” GI locums coverage

Rates: $425/hr

Position Overview

• Start Date: ASAP

• Reason for Opening: New Position

• Credential Requirements: DO or MD

• Licensure: Active Ohio License Required (IMLC not accepted)

• Certifications Required: ACLS, DEA, CSR License

• Minimum Experience: One year

• EMR System: EPIC

Coverage Details

Outpatient Procedural Coverage (Position A):

• Commitment of two weeks per month, Monday through Friday

• Schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

• Responsibilities include performing outpatient screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, EGD, and food bolus care (no ERCP or EUS)

• Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will assess patients before scheduling procedures in the hospital endoscopy space

On-Call Coverage (Position B):

• Commitment of one week per month, seven consecutive days of 24-hour call

• Response time of 30 minutes by phone and 60 minutes on-site if necessary

• Procedures performed as needed, primarily during business hours

• Low call volume

Total Estimated Shifts per Month

• Ten days of outpatient procedures

• Seven days of on-call coverage

Practice Setup and Work Environment

• The provider will not work solo but is expected to take call and perform procedures independently

• Existing partners in the practice are available for collaboration

Privileges

• Full and temporary privileges available

• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
