Locums Gastroenterology - Eau Claire, WI Coverage Need

  • Assignment Dates: Open Now - Ongoing
  • Schedule: One week per month - Half-day clinic - 2-3 days of beeper call per week (15-minute response time)
Position Details Location: Eau Claire, WI Trauma Level: 3 EMR System: Cerner Patients Per Shift: 8-9 Call Ratio: 1:2 Nearest Airports: Chippewa Valley Airport or MSP Lodging Recommendations: Holiday Inn Skill Requirements Upper GI Endoscopy - Biopsy - Foreign body removal - Fulguration of bleeder (cautery/laser) - Injection of varices Esophageal Procedures - Dilatation/manometry - Manometry interpretation Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy - Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyps Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Requirements Board Eligible Clean history required Additional Details Sedation privileges not required, as Anesthesia administers sedation for all scope cases.
