Locums Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology - Seaford, DE Coverage Need

  • Start Date: 4/1/2025
  • End Date: 7/1/2025
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, every week from April-June - Procedure Days: Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday (first Friday 4/4/2025) - Office Days: Tuesday and Thursday (opposite Fridays of procedures)

Position Details Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient EMR: Epic Hospital Stroke Certified: No Temporary Privileges: Available Trauma Level: 3 Patients per Shift: 20 Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Submissions Requirements Board Certified Licensed in DE only ATLS, BLS Skill Requirements Specialty Skills: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology - Upper GI Endoscopy: with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices - ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography): Diagnostic, Therapeutic - PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) - Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry - Small Bowel Biopsy - Lower GI Endoscopy: Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid), Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp) - Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) - Liver Biopsy - Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
