Position Details Location: Rogers, AR Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient EMR System: Epic Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Patients Per Shift: 12 Admissions Required: Yes Submissions Requirements Licensed in AR or with IMLC Board Certified or Eligible Clean history required Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Skill Requirements Specialty Skills: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology - Upper GI endoscopy - With biopsy - With foreign body removal - With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) - Esophageal dilatation/manometry - Small Bowel biopsy - Lower GI endoscopy - Sigmoidoscopy (flexible) - Colonoscopy - With biopsy - With excision of polyp - ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) (Preferred) - Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube (Preferred) Other Details Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes Call Ratio: 0 Call Back %: 10% Phone Consults: 0 Nearest Airport: N/A Lodging Recommendations: N/A Shift: 4 high-risk outpatient screening colonoscopies plus inpatient addons per day for 1 week at a time (7 days), 1-2 weeks per month
