Role: Permanent Gastroenterologist (MD/DO)

Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday – Friday with on-call duties (schedule details available upon request)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for gastrointestinal patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of GI disorders
Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and EGD
Develop personalized care plans for patients
Manage inpatient and outpatient care, including consultations and follow-ups
Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
On-call responsibilities (detailed coverage schedule available)
Qualifications:
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain)
Current ACLS/BLS certifications
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care
