Job Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology in Lawrenceville, GA

Join our dedicated team at a leading gastrointestinal practice located in the heart of Lawrenceville, Georgia. We are seeking two passionate gastroenterologists to provide exceptional care to our patients in a supportive environment. This facility is known for its commitment to excellence in clinical care and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fill 2 GI Hospitalist positions.
• Provide coverage for unassigned GI patients and United Digestive patients.
• Engage in general GI practice.
• Work a 7-on/7-off schedule (22 weeks per year).
• Offer consultative inpatient services from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
• Collaborate with 2 inpatient APPs covering seven days a week.
• Night call responsibilities covered by existing United Digestive physicians.
• Assure Hospitalist coverage during non-occupied weeks will be managed by current physicians.
• New graduates through 2025 are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
• DEA certification required prior to start date.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (REQUIRED).
• Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
• DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions) (REQUIRED).
• Visa support status to be noted (REQUIRED).
