Seeking experienced, highly qualified Gastroenterologists for upcoming coverage needs. We are looking to onboard top-tier candidates immediately!

Position Details:

• Shift Type: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Call: Required
• Call Ratio: Full 24-hour coverage
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based, Trauma Level II
• Patient Load:
  • Hospital-Based Patients per Day: ~16 (with ~6 consults)
  • No outpatient gastroenterology or internal medicine required
• Facility Support: Onsite Lab & X-Ray
• Gastroenterology Team: 4 physicians

Coverage Dates:

• April 28 (7:00 AM) – May 5 (7:00 AM)
• June 9 (7:00 AM) – June 16 (7:00 AM)
• July 21 (7:00 AM) – July 28 (7:00 AM)
• August 18 (7:00 AM) – August 25 (7:00 AM)
• September 1 (7:00 AM) – September 8 (7:00 AM)
• November 24 (7:00 AM) – December 1 (7:00 AM)

Required Procedures:

✔ Colonoscopy
✔ Liver Biopsy
✔ Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
✔ Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
✔ Lower GI Endoscopy
✔ Sigmoidoscopy

Upper GI Endoscopy Requirements:

✔ With Biopsy
✔ With Foreign Body Removal
✔ With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser)
✔ With Injection of Varices
✔ With Banding of Varices
✔ With ERCP (Preferred but Not Required)
✔ With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
✔ Diagnostic & Therapeutic

Requirements:

✔ Board Certification in Gastroenterology
✔ Active South Carolina Medical License
✔ 100% Clean Background – Highly preferred
✔ ERCP Experience – Preferred but not required
✔ EMR System: Epic
