Schedule

• 24 Hour Call: Mon - Sun, 7am - 7am
• 5-7 days per month, ongoing into 2025
• Specific Dates (All shifts end the following morning at 7a):
  • February 14-16 (willing to accept ERCP only for these dates)
  • March 1-2 (willing to accept ERCP only for these dates)
  • July 8-14
  • July 31-Aug 2
  • Aug 19-Sept 4
  • Sept 30-Oct 1
  • Nov 2-14, 25-30
  • Dec 10-12, 23- Jan 6
  • Ongoing dates will begin Jan 2025 and will not be released until Mid July 2025

Clinical Details

• Setting: Inpatient
• Level 1 trauma
• Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
• Admissions, 8-10 patients per day, 5-8 scopes per day
• GI does not admit they are just a consult service
• 15 years old and 50 kilograms for a pediatric trauma
  • Otherwise, Pediatric patients are not admitted to the facility
• 24/7 intensivists, hospitalists, and trauma services at site

Requirements

• Board Certified Gastroenterology
• Active CO License - Highly Preferred
• Active DEA (will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked)
• Candidates must be able to perform ERCP & EUS
  • will accept ERCP only for Feb & March dates
• Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
  • Required for February dates
• Required Procedures: Scoping, ERCP, Endoscopy, GI bleed, Evaluation of GI problems, EUS
• Local/drive-in candidates - Highly Preferred
