Physician - Gastroenterologist (GI)
- Location: Annapolis, Maryland
- Full-time, permanent position
Position Objective:
Deliver exceptional medical care and services to patients within the Gastroenterology specialty. Ensure compliance with state regulations, medical standards, and organizational policies while providing patient-centered care.

Patient Care:
- Provide patient education and counseling tailored to individual needs.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
Licensure and Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date licensure and complete continuing medical education (CME) credits as required by Maryland State Law.
Collaboration:
- Communicate with other physicians regarding patient treatment plans and therapies.
On-Call Responsibilities:
- Participate in scheduled group on-call rotations.
Policy Adherence:
- Perform duties in compliance with the State of Maryland guidelines, BPQA (Board of Physicians Quality Assurance), AMA (American Medical Association), HCFA (Health Care Financing Administration), and AAHS policies.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited medical school (Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree).
Successful completion of a residency in Gastroenterology or a related specialty.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Current and unrestricted Maryland medical license.
DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification.
CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances) certification.
Board certification (or eligibility) in Gastroenterology.
