Locums – Colorado Springs, Colorado, GI Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role:

- Coverage Dates Needed:
- Feb 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
- Mar 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
- Shifts are 24-hour call - Friday (7a) - Friday (7a) every other week
- Setting: Inpatient Trauma Level II
- Patient Census: 15-25. Some days will be under 10, some days over 30
- FTE: 1.0
- Required Procedures/Job Duties: ERCP & General GI butter cases
- EMR: EPIC
- There is anesthesia support, no need for conscious sedation
- Hospitalist admits patients
- Avg.# daily procedures on in patients: 5-8
- 1-2 ERCPs per day (of the 5-8 procedures above)
- Candidate must be able to perform ERCP - Required
- Reason for Coverage: No GI Service
- EMR Required Training:
- Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
- EMR Virtual training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers’ first day
- Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of fellowship completion with BC in IM)
- Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
- Active CO DEA - Required
- Clean Malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
