Opportunity Overview: We are seeking skilled GI providers for full-time coverage across three locations.This role involves a mix of hospital, outpatient clinic, and free-standing GI center work, providing care in a fast-paced environment. As a part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for performing various GI procedures in collaboration with other physicians and mid-level providers.
Practice Details:
- Work Environment: Hospital, outpatient clinic, and free-standing GI center
- Procedure Focus: Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopies, small bowel biopsies, esophageal dilatation, manometry, EUS, and more
- Daily Caseload: Approximately 10 cases per day
- Team: 5 other physicians and 3 mid-level providers onsite; support from OR team and CRNA at the ASC
- Required Procedures: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy (including biopsy and polyp excision), EUS. EUR and ERCP preferred not required.
- Preferred Procedures: Advanced procedures including foreign body removal, cautery vs. laser, banding of varices, ERCP, liver biopsy, and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Licensing: Providers must be licensed in South Carolina (licensure process typically takes 90-120 days)
Shift Details:
- Required to be onsite for shifts, working approximately 9 hours daily
