Locums Gastroenterology - Las Cruces, NM Coverage Need

Position Details Coverage type: Call only Practice setting: Inpatient Admissions required: No Hospital/surgery center privileges required: No Temporary privileges available: Yes Call type: Beeper Call response time: 30 minutes Average patients per shift: 15-25 EMR system: Athena/Medhost Rounding on assigned patients Submissions Requirements Active state license required: Yes (New Mexico only; no IMLC) BC/BE Clean History Skill Requirements ERCP: Required - Diagnostic: Preferred - Therapeutic: Preferred Other procedures (Preferred but not required): - Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, PEG) - Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation - Small bowel biopsy - Lower GI endoscopy, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy/excision of polyp - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) - Liver biopsy - Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
