Position Overview
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens call coverage for two weeks per month. This role offers a balanced schedule and the opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday morning to the following Monday morning, two weeks per month.
- Coverage Includes: Hospital, Emergency Department, and phone calls across the health system.
- Daily Duties: 4-8 consults/rounds per day with anesthesia available in-house 24/7.
- Clinical Support:
- 3 Interventional Radiology physicians.
- APP support Monday through Thursday.
- EMR: Epic.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of one year actively practicing as a Gastroenterologist.
- Case Logs: At least 24 patient encounters in the past 12 months.
- Licensure: Active MI license or eligibility through IMLC.
