Job Description
This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care in Victoria, TX, with a focus on routine gastroenterological procedures.
Practice Setting:
- Work in a Level 3 trauma facility with a supportive team including 2 APPs and 1 MA.
- Manage approximately 30 patients per day with additional phone consults and callbacks.
Schedule:
- Ongoing assignment with a commitment of 1-2 weeks per month.
- Scheduled clinical hours plus 24-hour call with a 30-minute response time.
Procedures and Cases:
- Perform EGD, colonoscopies, and provide new patient access and hospital consults.
- Required skills include upper and lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active Texas medical license or Interstate Medical License.
- Certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate of $450.
- Additional pay for holidays and overtime.
